PROJECT GOAL
The goal of the project is to improve inclusive practices in working with parents of children with disabilities and persons with disabilities, and to empower trainers through job shadowing. The mobility will enable parents to acquire life skills so that they can cope more easily with challenges and develop strategies for dealing with their situation. In this way we will improve the quality of the time parents and children spend together, increase social inclusion and contribute to a better quality of life for our users.
RESULTS
The project will increase the professional competences of our 6 trainers and 2 members of the management by adopting new methods of working with parents. We will design 3 new training courses to support parents, encourage social inclusion and improve the quality of services. Parents will receive concrete tools for facing challenges, while staff will learn from experienced professionals and apply the knowledge they have gained in their work with parents.
